blanket

As most of you know, I am not overly fond of children. I absolutely love my niece and nephews, but I only see them a few times a year. When I do see them, we have a lot of fun together. We have water fights, nerf-gun fights, sleep overs, spa days and etc. I can talk to them about drugs and etc., because I am the "cool" aunt. I am quite sure that if I was around the kids more often, they wouldn't think of me as the cool aunt, since kids in general grate on my nerves.

I am very uncomfortable around babies. I have rarely held a baby. I think all of them are ugly and do not look like either parent - they all are alien like to me. I think I have "tried" to change a diaper a few times. To me, their "cooing" is not cute. They flatuate and spit up. How do you stop them from crying??

As most of you know, I love xmas graft. Graft throughout the year is great, but xmas graft is just one touch more special.

Now, my dislike of kids and my love of graft come together for this story.

Yesterday I received some xmas graft from our lawyer. It is this sweet cuddly soft blanket (yes, there is a side of canagal that enjoys the finer things in life) from a website called Yummy Style.

Although this sites' main focus is to sell blankets to newborns, they also sell larger sizes for adults. I can't get over how soft this blanket is. The colour is great as well: chocolate brown.

A girlfriend of mine is due to "heave-ho" a little one in a few months time. I think I am going to have to buy her and the little one a blanket. But, don't expect me to go to the baby shower!

Ok, time to go get waxed,
CG

OOOHHH I got that same blanket in cream color from Urban Barn around Christmas time. What a soft blanket, with the same satin edging like my old baby blanket.

Yep, Skybar sure loves that blanket....

What is graft? I've never heard that term before.

Any word on your cousin's missing daughter?

Hey Reid - graft - the same as "swag", you know freebies usually given to you by other companies to thank you for your "support" over the year (ie: making sure you pay their bills on time)

It wasn't my cousins daughter it was my friends cousin's daughter... she of course came home 3 days later after partying with a "boyfriend" from the internet.... cheeses!
