Thirty Things About Me
In no particular order


1. Cats are my favourite humans;
2. Believe it or not, I spent two years at Bible College: I learnt a lot about myself during this tenure. Even though I discovered that "organized" religion is not for me (nor is christianity, the way that "organized" religions play it out), I don't regret the time spent at Bible College;
3. I began drinking coffee when I was in grade four;
4. My first album was by Eddy Rabbit. It featured the song, "I Love a Rainy Night";
5. It was an X-mas gift from a family member;
6. My favourite non-alcoholic beverage is good ol' H2O; preferably spring water that is tepid;
7. I am addicted to my crackberry;
8. I hate being competitive;
9. I sometimes wish that I had become a medical doctor;
10. When I have insomnia, I try to do mathematical equations in my head;
11. I have been in love with Sean for 17 years;
12. I never believed in "love at first sight", until I met Sean;
13. As a child, I collected hockey cards;
14. I used to be scared of the noise trees make during wind storms;
15. I love outdoor activities: be it winter sports or summer activities like bike-riding, hiking and swimming;
16. Although I love being active, I am not that athletic;
17. I was an out and out Tom-Boy until the age of 16;
18. I hate the feel of cotton balls;
19. Sean snores so loud that, "the noise can wake the dead", according to friends who have camped with us, but I can sleep through his snoring episodes;
20. My second album was by Styx. It had the song "Mr. Roboto" on it;
21. It was my first album purchase;
22. My teacher in grade two wanted to move me up to grade three, or even grade four, my parents wouldn't let it happen, for they thought I was not mature enough for my age;
23. In grade three, my teacher told my parents I shouldn't advance a grade, because I was not mature enough for my age;
24. She even suggested keeping me in grade three an extra year so I could develop more confidence, my parents rejected this idea and at the end of the school year I passed onto grade four;
25. I enjoy watching documentaries;
26. Sometimes, when I am really bored, I sleep;
27. I don't decorate our house during X-mas season;
28. One of my favourite all time movies is a cheesy movie featuring "D.B. Sweeny", called "The Cutting Edge";
29. I also love the movie, "Jacob's Ladder", and
30. I have a weird obsession with drinking glasses. If I could, I would have all of our kitchen cupboards full of amazingly beautiful drinking glasses.

You are one of the most awesome people I know, and I knew that before I read your list. Your list is interesting though and makes me like you even more. I also have a thing for lists!!!

I over decorate my house at X-mas to compensate for your non-decorating.

I find a lot of similarities in how I feel about things like organized christianity and decorating the house at Xmas... And I am still in love with Sean since 1991 ;-p
Oh, and I still don't act my age most of the time...
