As most of you know, when I am at work I am pretty focussed. However, when I am at home, I am a tad bit "scatter brained". My dear friend, Mena (who both works with me and has been a personal friend since grade 4), has seen me in both a work and a home setting and has kindly told me that, "it is just because you are still thinking about work when you are at home, so things go amiss". Maybe she is right.
This past Saturday, I told Sean to stay lounging in bed, and I would make the coffee and bake the pillsbury dough boy biscuits (that is my version of being a Susy Homemaker!), and bring him breakfast in bed. So, I am downstairs, puttering around in the kitchen, waiting for the kettle to finish boiling (we use a french press for our coffee), while I pre-heat the oven and get ready to put the biscuits into the oven.
After I have poured the boiling water into our bodum, I turn to put the biscuits into the now pre-heated oven. That is when I realize that instead of using tin foil on the baking tin, I had used saran wrap!
Yesterday, Sean shaved his head. He asked me to clean up any areas that he might have missed (ie: the wolf hair on his neck). After I did this, I went to trim his eyebrows. Well, as usual, my mind was a thousand miles away and I shaved off Sean's eyebrow.
Maybe I should just stick to accounting.

Domestic Goddess and Beauty School Drop-out?
Bring on the pictures. I know you must have at least one.
I refuse to take a pic of the bald-headed one eyebrow wonder... he might be able to use that against me sometime in the future!
You should always put a comb in from the top and than shave along the comb... Than you can't go wrong.
